Job summary

Principal Asset Management is seeking a Senior Associate Accountant for the Investment Accounting team supporting Private Alternative Credit Fund Reporting (PAC). You will apply GAAP knowledge to complex accounting challenges, partnering with fund administrators and various internal teams to ensure accurate month-end close, NAV calculation, and investor reporting.

• 2+ years relevant accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Apply sophisticated accounting analysis in accordance with GAAP and regulatory guidance; perform complex transaction processing and month-end close activities.
• Collaborate with fund administrators to ensure timely NAV calculation and reporting.
• Design and implement new processes/systems; test and escalate variances or issues as needed.
• Assist with new client structures and PAC fund formation activities.
• Develop governance frameworks and finance controls; coordinate with external auditors.
