Job summary

DEPT OF TRANSPORTATION in Arizona seeks a Special Investigator to conduct statewide, national, and international investigations of high complexity. You will review allegations, conduct investigations of fraud, theft, forgery and corruption, and coordinate with prosecutors on case files, subpoenas, warrants and evidence.

Travel, remote work possibilities within Arizona, and a $4,000 hiring incentive are available.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of state and federal motor vehicle laws and procedures.
• Experience with evidence handling, court processes and report writing.
• Ability to work with prosecutors and other agencies.

Responsibilities

• Review information and documents; analyze data and plan case strategy.
• Interview victims, witnesses and suspects; travel as required.
• Undercover operations and surveillance in coordination with agencies.
• Prepare warrants, affidavits and maintain case files and evidence.
• Prepare clear, concise case reports and maintain equipment.
