LVI Associates in Atlanta is seeking a Senior Investigative Engineer/Practice Leader to build and lead the Atlanta Investigative Engineering Group, expanding the firm’s presence across Georgia and the Southeast. You will mentor engineers, drive client relationships, and shape the strategic direction of the practice.

The role blends technical leadership with business development, requiring a PE license, 9+ years of experience, and ability to work in the Atlanta area.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• PE license required.
• 9+ years of progressive engineering experience.
• Experience in structural investigations, forensic engineering, restoration, rehabilitation, or existing buildings consulting.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and construction practices.
• Proven ability to lead projects and mentor engineering staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work in the Atlanta area.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex structural investigations and building assessments.
• Develop repair and rehabilitation solutions for existing structures.
• Mentor engineers and grow the investigative team.
• Drive business development and client relationships in Georgia and the Southeast.
