Job summary

HD Supply seeks an Inventory Analyst to manage and analyze inventory levels, maximizing fill rate and service levels. You will mentor junior team members and collaborate with analytics and merchandising to optimize stock, EOQ and safety stock decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include leveraging SAP to control inventory, identifying improvements, and driving SKU transitions and seasonal planning while guiding junior staff.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in related discipline; 5-8 years experience or MS/MA with 3-5 years.
• Certification is required in some areas.
• Experience with SAP and inventory analytics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leverages SAP and other systems to execute tactical inventory control.
• Partners with Inventory Analytics and Merchandising to address fill rate issues.
• Utilizes and monitors exception reports and daily analytics for key metrics.
• Develops strategies for SKU transitions and seasonal trends.
• Aligns EOQ, min/max, safety stock, velocity rankings with objectives.
• Manages supplier relations to address fill rate and lead time issues.
• Drives process improvements across the business network.
• Guides junior associates with best practice techniques.
