Job summary

Solo Brands is seeking a high-impact Senior Planner to optimize inventory across Amazon and physical retail channels. You will shape preseason and in-season strategies, collaborate to balance stock with demand, and guide assortment decisions to maximize growth and protect margins.

You will translate demand signals into actionable plans, own SKU-level optimization for Amazon, and deliver regular updates on inventory health, risks, and opportunities across channels.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in merchandise planning, inventory management, or demand planning.
• Retail background required; in-store experience is a plus but not required.
• Experience planning across Amazon and physical retail stores; Amazon experience (FBM/FBA) is a strong plus but not required on its own.
• Category-level open-to-buy management experience; end-to-end ownership of a category is strongly preferred.
• Strong financial and business acumen: proficiency in retail math and the ability to translate data into strategic decisions.
• Advanced Excel skills: pivot tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, macros, large data set handling.

Responsibilities

• Support preseason and in-season inventory strategy for Amazon and store locations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage inventory availability, promotions, and stock optimization.
• Make recommendations on assortment expansion or tiering based on sell-through and performance data.
• Support store-level allocation and replenishment aligned with sell-through velocity and store-tier performance.
• Identify replenishment opportunities in-season and mitigate out-of-stock and excess risk across channels.
• Deliver monthly demand planning updates including sales, margin, sell-through, and weeks of supply.
