Job summary

The Home Depot in Atlanta, GA is seeking an Inventory Analyst to partner with merchants to develop and implement inventory strategies across stores and SKUs, ensuring optimal stock levels and maximizing turns and sales.

You will forecast SKU demand, manage replenishment parameters, collaborate with vendors, stores, and supply chain partners, and support cross-functional process improvements within the Supply Chain Organization.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• BA/BS degree preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly retrieve, manipulate, analyze, and interpret data.
• Strong quantitative skills through knowledge of statistics and quantitative data analysis and interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Create strategies and tactics with merchants to deliver financial objectives including sales, margin, and turns.
• Achieve in-stock and turn targets.
• Coordinate needs across supply chain partners.
• Manage category to open-to-buy targets.
• Provide analysis to improve category performance.
• Build and maintain relationships with merchants, suppliers, stores, and supply chain partners.
• Train new associates.
• Contribute to cross-functional project teams.
