Oregon Health & Science University is seeking a Senior Property Specialist to coordinate purchasing, storeroom operations, and inventory control at the Portland campus. You will manage daily tasks, supervise staff, and ensure accurate records while maintaining compliance with OHSU policies.

Responsibilities include securing supplies, coordinating shipping, and driving to collect or deliver items as needed. The role requires experience in stores/inventory and forklift training, with Hazmat

Formación

• Experience performing stores and inventory work.
• Knowledge of inventory control systems and transportation/shipping methods.
• English at high school level, strong reading and writing skills.
• Conflict resolution and time management abilities.
• Must maintain compliance with organizational guidelines.
• Hazmat handling awareness and forklift training within 3 months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Assigns work to employees or students for storeroom operations.
• Checks supply levels and ensures adequate stock for requests.
• Manages purchasing up to authorized limits and processes approvals.
• Tracks inventory and maintains accurate records of equipment and property.
• Drives to pick up and deliver supplies, and assists with warehouse tasks.
• Responds to staff inquiries regarding stock availability and procedures.
• Other duties including transporting materials within OHSU premises.
