Job summary

Advanced Technology Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Inventory Specialist in Augusta, Arkansas. This on-site role focuses on maintaining inventory accuracy, processing stock repairs, and managing reorder levels within budgeted guidelines.

You will collaborate with supervisors and accounting to ensure accuracy and continuous improvement. The position emphasizes strong communication, team collaboration, and attention to detail in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information to customers, clients, and other employees; perform basic math and interpret charts and graphs.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the integrity of inventory and restocking of items in inventory.
• Processes repairs for stock; puts away stock; timestamps repair parts; pulls parts; delivers component parts to technicians for repairs.
• Controls inventory and material from vendors keeping within established department budget; proposes changes to stock levels and reorder levels for effective inventory management; analyzes inventory records.
• Monitors stock levels and parts; enters order and stocking data; receives purchase orders and stocks items; expedites late material orders.
• Maintains cross-reference system for optimal usage; tracks and updates nonconforming parts.
• Works with department managers to stay within budget.
• Assists with inventory problem resolution and participates in semi-annual physical inventory; coordinates with Accounting and auditors.
• Sources and evaluates vendors; follows up on past due orders; reduces POE and invoice disputes.
• Establishes and maintains an aggressive cost reduction program; reports results to management.
• Assists Customer Service and Operations with system parts transactions; supports warranty claims with OEMs.
• Participates in quality initiatives and adheres to safety procedures.
