Job summary

Advanced Technology Services (ATS) is seeking an Inventory/Materials Analyst to maintain inventory integrity, process repairs, and manage reorder levels in a manufacturing setting. You will coordinate with vendors and cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery within budget.

Qualifications include an associate's degree or equivalent, strong math and communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds in a loud factory environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, memos, and short correspondence; write simple notes.
• Must be a team player, organized, self-motivated and able to prioritize.
• Must have outstanding people and communication skills to interact with team members, customers and management.

Responsibilities

• Oversees integrity of inventory and restocking of items.
• Processes repairs for stock; places and delivers parts to technicians.
• Controls inventory and material from vendors within department budget; analyzes records.
• Processes requisitions; tracks stock levels and orders; expedites late material.
• Maintains cross-reference system for nonconforming parts.
• Works with managers to stay within budget.
• Assists with inventory problem resolution and inventory audits.
• Participates in training to develop purchasing and supervisory skills.
• Sources and evaluates vendors for plant-level services.
• Oversees follow-up of past due orders to reduce POE and invoice issues.
• Establishes cost reduction programs and reports results.
• Assists Customer Service and Operations with system parts transactions.
