Job summary

Advanced Technology Services, Inc. seeks an Inventory Specialist to manage inventory integrity on-site in Canutillo, Texas. You will handle stock movements, parts distribution to technicians, and vendor coordination in a factory setting.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree or equivalent, strong numerical ability, and effective communication skills. The role offers a pay range of approximately $40k–$52k USD per year plus robust benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, memos, and basic correspondence.
• Strong math and data interpretation skills including rate, ratio and percent.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills; able to present information clearly.
• Must be a team player who can work with supervisors, customers, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the integrity of inventory and restocking of items in inventory.
• Processes repairs for stock; puts away stock; timestamps repair parts; pulls parts; delivers component parts to technicians for repairs.
• Controls inventory and material from vendors within department budget; analyzes inventory records.
• Monitors stock levels, processes requisitions, orders, and tracks shipments; expedites late material orders.
• Maintains cross-reference system for optimal usage; tracks and updates nonconforming parts.
• Works with managers to stay within budget; assists with problem resolution and periodic inventories.
• Participates in training and evaluates vendors for plant-level services.
