Job summary

Nordstrom is seeking a Senior Manager of Inventory Positioning (IP) Program Management to lead how inventory is positioned across the network, including stores and fulfillment centers. You’ll guide IP strategy, partner with Merchandising, Store Ops, and Tech, and drive AI-enhanced insights into placement decisions.

You will manage a small team and collaborate across a 50+ person Allocation organization, delivering value through coordinated inventory actions and change management.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of job-related experience in supply chain or inventory management with leadership experience.
• Proven ability to formulate inventory strategy and lead implementation.
• Data-driven decision making with comfort using AI-assisted tools.
• Experience leading change management during system or platform transitions.
• Strong communication across multiple levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Drive initial placement and overall inventory position across the network with cross-functional partners.
• Own FC inventory positioning strategy and link inventory placement to operations execution.
• Support scaled events by ensuring optimal assortment and inventory levels across FCs and stores.
• Advance AI-assisted insights integration to automate repetitive work and improve outcomes.
• Lead a team of program managers and shape the placement strategy aligned with long-term plans.
