Job summary

Nordstrom is seeking a Director of Data Analysis to own the reimagined Inventory Operations Data Analytics organization. Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience with 3+ years leading analytics and data engineering teams.
• Proven track record building high-functioning analytics teams and driving change.
• Expertise in BI tools and data engineering fundamentals (SQL, Python, ETL/ELT, cloud data warehousing).
• Strong executive communication and ability to translate data insights for non-technical audiences.
• Retail or supply chain experience preferred.

• Lead the unified Inventory Operations Data Analytics organization and strategy.
• Develop and manage data pipelines, architecture, and reporting for inventory telemetry and visualization.
• Build and lead a team of 10-15 with clear ownership and performance.
• Drive weekly and monthly inventory data review processes focused on decision-making.
• Reduce manual reporting by pushing automated, self-serve data products and AI-enabled workflows.
• Collaborate with Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Technology leaders to align across executives.
