Job summary

Sprints Athletic Apparel in Austin seeks a Senior Inventory Planner to own demand forecasts, plan inventory across DTC, wholesale and marketplaces, and collaborate with Product, Sales, Marketing and Operations on launches.

You will build 13- and 52-week forecasts by SKU, recommend buys and timing, set inventory targets by velocity, monitor aging stock, and drive weekly planning and reporting to optimize stock levels and turns.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years in inventory, demand or supply planning.
• Experience at growth-stage consumer brand.
• Experience planning across DTC, wholesale and marketplaces.
• Clear understanding of forecasting assumptions.
• Comfortable with open-to-buy and cash planning.

Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining 13-week and 52-week forecasts by SKU and channel.
• Recommending order quantities and timing each week based on lead times and safety stock.
• Setting inventory targets by SKU priority and velocity.
• Planning inventory across DTC, wholesale, Amazon, TikTok Shop and international.
• Building initial buys for new collections and seasonal moments with cross-functional teams.
• Reviewing sell-through after launches and applying learnings.
• Recommending transfers, promotions or markdowns for slow-moving product.
• Tracking POs, production, transit and receipts and updating plans for delays or quality issues.
• Building and maintaining inventory reporting and leading weekly planning meetings.
