Job summary

Winebow is seeking a skilled Inventory Control and Margin Analytics professional in a hybrid role in the United States. You will identify slow-moving inventory, forecast demand, and optimize working capital while monitoring pricing and supplier agreements.

Strong Excel, BI tool proficiency, and AI tooling are required. The role involves close collaboration with Finance and Supply Chain to improve margins and inventory efficiency across portfolios and locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 3-5 years of inventory planning, analytics, pricing, or FP&A experience.
• Advanced Excel with pivot tables and lookups; large data sets.
• Proficiency with Power BI or Tableau.
• Familiar with generative AI tools (Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT).
• Strong knowledge of inventory metrics (turns, days of supply, fill rate).
• Experience extracting and reconciling data from ERP systems.
• Clear written and verbal communication to senior leadership.
• Attention to detail and ownership of recurring reports and controls.

Responsibilities

• Identify slow-moving/a ged inventory and plan depletion or transfers.
• Report inventory value, turns, DOH, and working capital impact; explain variances.
• Forecast near-, mid-, and long-term inventory and spend with Finance and Supply Chain.
• Forecast portfolio mix impacts on inventory and working capital.
• Model PO timing, quantities, lead times, and container economics.
• Design and enhance inventory dashboards and analytics using BI tools and ERP data.
• Monitor pricing adherence and report exceptions to price lists and deals.
• Audit supplier agreements, rebates, depletion allowances, and price protection.
• Analyze gross margin by supplier/brand/SKU; build margin bridges by price/cost/mix/volume.
• Collaborate with Finance and Operations to maintain controls and avoid margin leakage.
