Job summary

Ingram Micro is hiring for a warehouse/material handler role. You will move and load materials, open crates, process orders, assist in inventory and stocking, and manage shipping/receiving according to company procedures.

You may mentor junior staff and work with limited supervision on moderately difficult tasks. The position requires a two-year degree or equivalent experience with 3+ years in the function, or a high school diploma with 5 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Two year college degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years experience in the functional area.
• High School Diploma or equivalent and 5 years functional experience.
• Seasoned individual contributor with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Handle, move, load and unload materials manually or with equipment.
• Open and seal crates, boxes and cartons.
• Collect, sort, store and distribute materials.
• Process orders from requisitions and dispense stock items.
• May assist in inventory and stock rotation.
• Ship, receive and process freight per policy.
• Maintain stock and timely delivery of merchandise.
• Update purchase order system as shipments arrive or backorder.
• Process inventory paperwork and report issues regularly.
