Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Senior Coordinator, Inventory Management to analyze existing inventory, validate inbound shipments, and drive operational efficiency. You will create standard inventory reports, forecasts, and coordinate stock transfers, while leading cycle counts and ensuring product availability.

The role focuses on accurate data entry, supplier communications, and resolving discrepancies to minimize costs and improve service levels across the facility.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort working at heights 20–30 ft regularly.
• Ability to follow directions and change priorities.
• Stand for entire shift; bend, reach, stoop, lift.

Responsibilities

• Verify inbound and outbound shipments against packing slips and input data into the WMS.
• Develop forecasts of inventory based on customer demand and orders.
• Place electronic orders based on inventory reports and communicate with suppliers.
• Monitor inventory levels using WMS to identify slow- and fast-moving items and expiration data.
• Address discrepancies and supplier issues; escalate as needed to a supervisor.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories as scheduled.
