Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Lead Coordinator, Inventory Management in the United States. The role analyzes inventory, resolves inbound discrepancies, and leads cycle counts to boost facility efficiency and reduce costs.

The position involves validating shipments, creating inventory reports, and training associates to uphold SOPs. With 6+ years of experience and cherry picker proficiency, you will guide a team and ensure accurate data in WMS while supporting customer satisfaction and cost

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience preferred.
• High School Diploma, GED or technical certification in related field or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• As a working lead, provides on-the-job guidance to Associates and Senior Coordinators and ensures that the team adheres to standard operating procedures for work assignments.
• Enters and validates product data in the warehouse management system (WMS) and releases product for use in the facility.
• Develops forecasts of inventory based on customer demand, orders, and shipment speeds of various products and suppliers.
• Places electronic orders based on inventory reporting and forecasting; communicates with suppliers as needed.
• Monitors inventory levels and runs reports from WMS to analyze slow-/fast-moving products and expiration data.
• Evaluates quantity discrepancies and quality issues, such as damaged products, and escalates as needed.
• Conducts regular cycle counts and validates count data with team members.
