Job summary

Cardinal Health in Kentucky is seeking a Senior Coordinator, Inventory Management - Profiler to analyze existing inventory, validate inbound shipments and lead cycle counts. This role drives warehouse efficiency, creates reports, and supports forecasting, stocking and process improvements in a pharmacy distribution setting.

Responsibilities include optimizing storage locations, monitoring inventory levels, resolving issues and training staff, with a focus on accuracy and cost control.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to measure, weigh, classify and document inventory.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of inventory control processes, cycle counting, reconciliations and discrepancy resolution.

Responsibilities

• Review incoming products and determine optimal warehouse storage locations.
• Monitor inventory levels, replenishment activity and product movement for accuracy.
• Identify and resolve issues impacting receiving, replenishment, and packing operations.
• Track warehouse capacity and storage utilization and recommend improvements.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits and investigations.
• Analyze reports to support inventory control and warehouse performance.
• Support process improvements to enhance efficiency and service levels.
• Develop slotting strategies based on product characteristics and demand.
• Manage customer-owned inventory and receiving discrepancies.
• Assist in new customer implementations and training of profiling and slotting.
