Job summary

Daisy Brand, headquartered in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Senior Cost Analyst to support Finance and Operations. This role focuses on accurate inventory costing, variance analysis, and process improvements across manufacturing and supply chains.

The analyst will drive data-driven decisions using ERP tools and BI reporting. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in cost/finance within manufacturing, experience with Dynamics 365, Power BI, and automation tools, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years in accounting/finance, preferably in manufacturing or inventory-intensive environments.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred; Power BI and Power Automate a plus.

Responsibilities

Support BOMs and cost standards aligned with policies and production processes.
Analyze purchase prices, variances, and trends to identify drivers and improvement opportunities.
Assist month-end close with journal entries and inventory reconciliation to ensure accurate valuation.
Analyze inventory losses with Operations to identify root causes.
Maintain inventory costing methodologies and conversion cost drivers.
Support ERP data accuracy and reporting enhancements in Dynamics 365.
