Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Senior Coordinator, Inventory Management to analyze current inventory, resolve inbound discrepancies, and drive operational efficiency in pharmacy warehouse operations. You will validate inbound shipments, place electronic orders, generate standard inventory reports and forecasts, and lead regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy and cost control.

The role emphasizes data-driven inventory planning, cross-functional collaboration, and adherence to quality guidelines

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of inventory control experience in a warehouse environment.
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF technology preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, preferred
• Material Handling Equipment experience, preferred

Responsibilities

• Receives inbound products from manufacturers and checks packing slips to ensure quantity matches; enters data in database and releases product for use.
• Develops forecasts of inventory based on customer demand and shipment speeds.
• Places electronic orders based on inventory reporting and forecasting; communicates with manufacturers as needed.
• Monitors inventory levels and runs reports to analyze slow/fast-moving products and expiration dates.
• Evaluates discrepancies and quality issues; enters issues in database and escalates when needed.
• Conducts regular cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Processes damaged inbound products for disposal.
