Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Senior Coordinator, Inventory Management to analyze inventory, validate inbound shipments, and drive efficiency. You will prepare forecasts, validate EDI, coordinate off-site storage, and lead regular cycle counts to minimize costs while maintaining service levels.

You will work with the warehouse management system, collaborate with suppliers, and ensure data accuracy to support customer satisfaction and facility expenses.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of inventory experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Validate inbound shipments and enter data into the WMS.
• Develop forecasts of inventory based on demand and orders.
• Place electronic orders and coordinate with suppliers.
• Monitor inventory levels and run WMS reports on slow/fast-moving items.
• Investigate discrepancies and coordinate with suppliers to resolve issues.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
