Job description

Our team is looking for a Senior Inventory Coordinator to independently manage inventory flow, cost accuracy, and logistics coordination across multiple sites. This role is built for someone who can own the full inventory lifecycle — from receipt through processing, cost reconciliation, and shipment — without close supervision, while keeping Supply Chain and Accounting aligned on cost and flow issues as they arise.

This role is designed for experienced inventory professionals who can be trusted to run day-to-day operations independently, catch problems before they become costly, and keep material moving efficiently across sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage core inventory workflows, including item setup, receipt processing, stock transfers, and processing-center transactions.
  • Monitor vessel and barge arrivals, record inventory receipts across multiple sites, and independently investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Review damaged or nonconforming materials and document quality-control findings to support the claims process.
  • Review processing results, follow up with processing centers, and post related inventory transactions and invoices.
  • Own the monthly vendor reconciliation process end-to-end, including identifying root causes of recurring discrepancies and driving them to resolution.
  • Review third-party warehouse storage invoices and independently dispute inaccuracies or overcharges.
  • Compile inventory and shipment reports to support annual inventory tax filings.
  • Track and manage inventory cost flow across sites, flagging cost variances, absorption issues, or landed-cost discrepancies before they affect margins.
  • Manage inventory across the full warehousing cycle — from inbound receipt, through inter-site transfers, to storage prior to outbound shipment — ensuring accurate tracking and timely movement of material .
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for processing centers and third-party warehouses on escalated flow, timing, or cost issues.
  • Partner directly with Accounting during month-end and year-end close to ensure inventory quantities, costs, and accruals are accurate and reconcile cleanly.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to Inventory Associates and Coordinators on transaction processing and discrepancy resolution.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1+ years of experience in inventory, supply chain, or operations, including at least 1 year in a role with discrepancy resolution or vendor reconciliation responsibility
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and translate findings into clear, actionable reporting
  • Effective written and verbal communication and teamwork skills, including the ability to communicate findings to Accounting and Supply Chain leadership
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant coursework, internships, or up to two years of experience in supply chain, logistics, inventory, or related operations
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and AI or workflow-automation tools such as Claude and n8n
  • Previous exposure to the steel or metals industry is a plus
