Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage core inventory workflows, including item setup, receipt processing, stock transfers, and processing-center transactions.
  • Monitor vessel and barge arrivals, record inventory receipts across multiple sites, and investigate discrepancies.
  • Review damaged or nonconforming materials and document quality-control findings to support the claims process.
  • Review processing results, follow up with processing centers, and post related inventory transactions and invoices.
  • Perform monthly vendor reconciliations and provide comprehensive reports to the Supply Chain and Accounting departments.
  • Review third-party warehouse storage invoices and dispute inaccuracies or overcharges as needed.
  • Compile inventory and shipment reports to support annual inventory tax filings.

Job description

We are seeking an **Inventory Coordinator** to join our on-site team to manage daily inventory, processing, and logistics operations.
