Southland Industries is seeking an Inventory Control Manager for our Ft. Worth facility to oversee local inventory, optimize storage, and ensure efficient resource use. You will analyze data to forecast demand, implement policies, train staff, and reconcile discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years in inventory, supply chains, and distribution.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Manufacturing Management is ideal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other inventory software is essential.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, leadership, and communication skills are vital.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ordering, unloading, storage, and use of materials from raw components to finished goods.
• Forecast future inventory needs by analyzing historical data, trends, and lead times.
• Investigate inventory issues, identify root causes, and implement process improvements.
• Hire, train, and manage staff involved in inventory control.
• Analyze inventory data with Excel/Power BI and report on key metrics.
• Ensure internal controls and cost accounting related to inventory.
