Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and inventory accounting.
• Familiarity with SOX controls and internal controls.
• Experience in analyzing inventory variances and corrective actions.
• Proficiency with Excel and PivotTables.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own key elements of monthly inventory close, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Maintain SOX-compliant controls and identify improvements.
• Analyze inventory and COGS variances and investigate root causes.
• Coordinate physical inventory counts across locations.
• Prepare on-hand inventory reports and train staff.
• Lead process-improvement initiatives in inventory accounting.
