Job summary

WellStar Health System is seeking an Interventional Special Procedures Technologist to support procedures in IR and vascular hybrid settings. The role involves patient preparation, imaging setup, and collaboration with radiologists and vascular surgeons to deliver high-quality diagnostic studies.

The candidate must have ARRT-R, BLS, and at least 1 year of Interventional Special Procedures experience, with flexibility for an on-call schedule and adherence to Joint Commission standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with Radiologic Technology education.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification and BLS certifications required upon hire.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Interventional Special Procedures in IR or vascular hybrid setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients, set up equipment for procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and privacy, document procedures.
• Assist radiologists and surgeons in interventional settings.
• On-call rotation participation as required by department.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to regulatory standards.
