Job summary

Wellstar is seeking an Interventional Special Procedures Tech to join our radiology team. You will work a Day shift in a full-time role, support with imaging in both IR and vascular hybrid settings, and participate in on-call rotations (5-6 days per month plus one weekend).

Under supervision of the clinical coordinator and department manager, you will prepare equipment, assist with procedures, and ensure patient safety and quality imaging across exams.

Qualifications

• Requires ARRT Radiography certification or equivalent.
• CVRN-LVL3 or CV (Cath Lab/Interventional) certification preferred RCIS.
• BLS certification required; instructor BLS considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist with imaging exams in the interventional suite.
• Perform procedures with independent judgment in IR and vascular hybrid settings.
• Set up equipment and position patients to obtain quality diagnostic studies.
