Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a skilled professional to assist an Invasive Cardiologist during diagnostic and interventional procedures. The role requires strong radiographic knowledge, leadership in a lab setting, and the ability to train junior staff.

The candidate should have ARRT certification and at least 3 years in cardiac cath or interventional radiology, with robust critical thinking and independent judgment. ACLS/CPR and background clearances are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in a cardiac cath lab or interventional radiology.
• ARRT certification or equivalent (CI/CV/R or VI).
• Strong critical thinking and independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Assists invasive cardiology procedures and participates in diagnostic/interventional steps.
• Maintains expertise in current radiographic imaging techniques related to invasive cardiac and peripheral procedures.
• Orients inexperienced staff on lab equipment operation and troubleshoots malfunctions.
• Anticipates adverse reactions during procedures and responds appropriately.
• Completes regulatory, billing, and image storage/documentation for procedures.
