Job summary

EY is seeking an Internet Ingress & Edge Engineer to support enterprise ingress services and edge connectivity across cloud and virtualized environments. You’ll own day-to-day operations, monitor health and performance, and troubleshoot routing, TLS, and load balancing issues to ensure reliable application delivery.

The role emphasizes automation with Terraform and Git workflows, on-call readiness, and collaboration with security and platform teams in a hybrid-wide environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in networking, cloud infrastructure, application delivery, load balancing, Internet ingress, edge operations, or related platform engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting end-to-end application traffic flows across DNS, TLS, load balancers, routing, cloud networking, firewalls, and backend targets.
• Experience supporting highly available production environments using formal incident, change, and problem management practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and cross-team coordination skills.
• Ability to participate in scheduled maintenance, after-hours changes, and on-call support as required.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day administration and operational ownership of ingress and edge connectivity services.
• Monitor platform health, service availability, performance, capacity, and operational risk.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, routing, load balancing, DNS, certificate, and application delivery issues.
• Support incident response, problem management, major incident coordination, and operational escalations.
• Participate in on-call support, service restoration, and planned maintenance activities.
• Configure, administer, and support AWS ALB/NLB, AVI load balancers, and Azure ingress services.
