Job summary

Addison Group is actively seeking a Senior Accountant – International Reporting to support accounting, financial reporting, and consolidation for international operations. This role partners with corporate accounting, tax, treasury, FP&A, and external auditors to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.

Responsibilities include leading month-end close for international entities, preparing journal entries and reconciliations, and supporting consolidated financial reporting while coordinating

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • 4+ years of accounting experience in corporate or public accounting.
  • Experience with multinational operations and foreign subsidiaries preferred.
  • Strong Excel skills and ERP system experience.
  • CPA certification or progress toward CPA preferred.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP.

Responsibilities

  • Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close for international entities.
  • Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, analyses, and reporting schedules.
  • Prepare monthly reporting packages and support consolidated reporting.
  • Perform foreign currency translation, intercompany reconciliations, settlements, and elimination support.
  • Research and resolve accounting, reporting, and intercompany issues across international operations.
  • Ensure accounting activities are performed in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company policies.
  • Coordinate with international finance teams to meet reporting and close deadlines.
  • Support statutory reporting requirements and coordinate with external service providers and in-country finance personnel.
  • Assist with U.S. and foreign tax compliance, tax provision schedules, transfer pricing, and intercompany reporting.
  • Serve as a key contact for internal and external audit requests and maintain supporting documentation.
  • Execute internal control activities and assist with SOX compliance requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting, close, and reporting processes through standardization and automation.
  • Develop and maintain standardized procedures and reporting processes across international accounting operations.

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant – International Reporting to support accounting, financial reporting, and consolidation activities for international operations. This role will serve as a key accounting resource for assigned entities and will work closely with corporate accounting, tax, treasury, FP&A, international finance teams, and external auditors.

  • Experience with foreign currency accounting, consolidations, and intercompany accounting preferred.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
  • Experience supporting international tax or statutory reporting is a plus.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems.
  • CPA certification or progress toward CPA is preferred.
  • Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple priorities and meet reporting deadlines.
