Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting to support monthly closes, prepare external reports, and lead technical accounting research. The role involves collaboration with Finance, Legal, Tax, Treasury, and HR in a global context and requires strong US GAAP knowledge.

The position offers a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office), competitive compensation with bonus, and a robust benefits package including immediate 401(k) vesting and tuition reimbursement

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of financial reporting and/or public accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• CPA (or CPA-track), MBA, or CMA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly and quarterly close, including consolidation and variance analysis.
• Prepare external financial reporting packages and financial statements for stakeholders.
• Lead technical accounting research and draft memos for new guidance.
• Partner with external auditors and manage audit deliverables (PBCs, documentation).
• Support internal controls, SOD compliance, and PCI-related activities.
• Contribute to financial reporting process improvements and system optimization initiatives.
