Job summary

Athene is seeking a Senior Internal Wholesaler to drive DCIO and private-asset sales across assigned territories. You will be the inside partner to senior distribution leadership, engaging retirement plan advisors and recordkeepers via phone and video, generating leads, and advancing the pipeline.

The role requires 4+ years in DCIO sales or related fields, FINRA licenses (6/63 or 7), and a Bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of DCIO sales or related experience.
• Experience with internal wholesaling and advisor relationships.
• Knowledge of defined contribution plans and ERISA fundamentals.
• CRM proficiency; Salesforce experience preferred.
• FINRA Series 6 and 63, or Series 7.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory plan with VP Regional Distribution.
• Serve as inside contact for recordkeeper teams.
• Engage advisors via phone and video; qualify opportunities.
• Coordinate sales presentations and field events; follow-up with next steps.
• Explain how private assets and guaranteed income address advisor and plan sponsor needs.
• Coordinate with wealth team and other distribution partners; maintain Salesforce activity.
