Job summary

Veeam Software is seeking an experienced executive communications leader to shape strategic internal communications for a fast-growing global organization. This role translates complex business changes into clear narratives and strengthens trust, engagement, and retention across the Global Products and Technology function.

Reporting to Global Internal Communications, you will craft day-to-day and program communications aligning employees around strategy, priorities, and ways of working.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of communications-related experience in a tech field.
• A degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or Marketing is ideal.
• Experience partnering with executives and senior leaders, program/project managers, and HR partners to build cross functional communications programs.
• Savvy in navigating challenges through creative problem-solving and proactive stakeholder management.
• Hands on experience working in and managing Microsoft Teams channels, SharePoint, email broadcasting platforms, and other internal channels to publish content.
• Flexible working across time zones and adapting work hours to accommodate business needs.
• Ability to work in-office in San Jose, CA.

Responsibilities

• Shape the department narrative and communicate strategy, priorities, progress, and changes to the broader Global Products and Technology organization.
• Create and deliver multi-channel communications including emails, newsletters, intranet and Teams posts, all hands, AMAs, video messages, presentations, FAQs, and manager talking points.
• Write creatively, persuasively, handling sensitive topics with care to inform, inspire, and reduce uncertainty.
• Turn conversations and ideas into thought leadership pieces that resonate with employees and other audiences.
• Work closely with PR and Social Media on topics that could support external thought leadership.
• Partner with People & Culture to plan and deliver communications for large-scale people programs and integrating teams into the Veeam way.
• Take guidance from Global Internal Communications to ensure consistent corporate messaging.
