Job summary

Motive is hiring an Internal Communications Lead to shape how we inform, align, and inspire employees across the company. This senior IC will own the internal narrative, drive multi-channel storytelling, and partner with executives to sharpen their voice for All Hands and major moments.

You will build a modern, video-first program, expand channels, and ensure consistent messaging with Legal, Corporate Communications, and People teams while measuring impact and refining programs over time.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in internal, corporate, or executive communications, with growth-stage experience.
• Proven track record producing All Hands and executive forums from narrative to delivery.
• Strong storytelling and writing skills for complex or sensitive priorities.

Responsibilities

• Own Motive's internal communications strategy and cadence to inform, align, and engage employees.
• Plan and produce All Hands and company-wide forums, from talking points to delivery.
• Build the internal video program with executive updates and milestone recaps.
• Experiment with new channels and formats to broaden reach and engagement.
• Manage internal channels (Slack, email, video) with precise targeting and timing.
• Draft executive messages and briefing materials for internal moments.
• Collaborate with Legal, Corporate Communications, and People teams on proactive plans.
• Ensure alignment of internal and external messaging across channels.
• Develop feedback loops (surveys, pulse checks) to measure impact and iterate.
