Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, PR or related field.
• 5+ years in corporate communications with AP Style mastery.
• Ability to write clearly about complex topics; published portfolio required.
• Proactive planner, capable of managing multiple priorities and advising internal clients.
• Experience with generative AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Write and edit long-form features, executive messaging, newsletters and intranet content.
• Create and manage employee publications; edit submissions and maintain quality.
• Self-edit to AP Style with minimal revision cycles.
• Track engagement metrics and use AI to inform strategy.
• Develop strategic communications plans aligned to business goals.
• Collaborate with internal clients across functions and projects.
• Manage event logistics, hospitality and attendee experience for Houston-based sponsorships.
