Job summary

The Cheesecake Factory is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to strengthen internal controls and support our SOX program. Based at the Calabasas Hills Support Center, you’ll execute testing, collaborate with process owners, and drive timely remediation while expanding into operational audits.

You will build strong cross‑functional partnerships, identify control gaps, and contribute to process improvements across Corporate and restaurant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
• CPA/CIA or actively pursuing one of these certifications preferred.
• 2+ years public accounting or 3+ years internal audit experience.
• 2+ years of SOX compliance experience.
• Experience testing internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the annual SOX compliance program with walkthroughs and control testing.
• Assist in remediation tracking and remediation of control deficiencies.
• Develop relationships with external auditors and coordinate testing timelines.
• Participate in operational audits and advisory projects across the company.
• Maintain SOX automation tool Optro (AuditBoard) controls and narratives.
