Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking an experienced Internal Audit professional for a hybrid role based in the United States. You will support audits, test controls, and ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and gaming regulations, while contributing to budgeting and process improvements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to travel occasionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley Act, gaming/regulatory rules is desirable.
• CPA, CIA, CFE, CISA certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and follow audit programs to conduct audits.
• Prepare and test source documents for compliance with Internal Control Manuals and regulatory rules.
• Assist in budgeting for the department and report budget concerns to management.
• Observe and analyze procedures to ensure compliance and efficiencies.
• Recommend improvements to procedures and compliance.
• Identify weaknesses in audit findings and propose solutions.
• Maintain and reference audit files with working papers.
• Liaise with external auditors to resolve issues.
• Present audit issues to management for reports and recommendations.
• Maintain confidentiality of all departmental and company matters.
• Ensure regulatory compliance within area of responsibility.
