Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking a senior financial leader to direct the Finance department, including accounting, payroll, and audit functions. The role focuses on budgeting, internal controls, and regulatory compliance to support strategic goals.

The candidate will drive financial reporting, risk management, and staff development while ensuring adherence to GAAP, SEC requirements, and company policies. Prior gaming industry exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• MBA preferred but not required for consideration.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Directs the overall operations and staff of the Finance department (Accounting, Payroll, Revenue Audit, Purchasing, Warehouse).
• Develops, implements, and monitors budgets and performance against objectives.
• Ensures efficient scheduling, labor cost control, and deadline achievement.
• Prepares and adheres to budgets; reports deviations to Executive Management/GM.
• Maintains internal controls and accounting systems compliance with GAAP and SEC requirements.
• Plans and executes the annual Company Budget and Capital Plan; reports variances.
• Provides staff development and oversees training and recognition programs.
