Job summary

Ingredion Incorporated in Westchester, IL seeks a Senior Internal Auditor to lead risk-based assurance engagements across financial, operational, compliance, and IT processes. You will collaborate with process owners, deliver practical insights, and strengthen governance and internal controls.

The role reports to the Manager, Internal Audit and requires travel up to 25%. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in auditing, knowledge of IIA standards, and experience with Power BI/Tableau, SQL, and Python

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; MBA or master’s is a plus.
3+ years of experience in public accounting and/or internal auditing, including lead engagement experience.
CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE, CRMA, or data analytics credential a plus.
Knowledge of IIA Global Internal Audit Standards and applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

Lead engagement planning and risk assessment; scope and work program approval.
Supervise staff auditors and co-sourced resources; ensure workpapers are reliable.
Evaluate design and operating effectiveness of financial, operational, IT controls.
Determine compliance with policies, standards, and regulations.
Partner with data team for analytics and continuous monitoring.
