Job summary

Ingredion Incorporated in Westchester, IL, is seeking a summer 2027 Internal Audit Intern to support audit activities, document processes, and apply data analytics to evaluate operations, finance, and compliance across the organization.

This hybrid role requires pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA, 40 hours per week, and on-site presence at least 3 days weekly. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is expected; Power BI or Tableau is preferred.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting/Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, MIS or similar with a GPA of at least 3.0/4.0.
• Able to work 40 hours per week during the summer internship term.
• On-site in Westchester, IL at least 3 days per week.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; Power BI or Tableau experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication, detail-oriented and organized.

Responsibilities

• Assist with audit execution under supervision.
• Document business processes and controls.
• Perform audit testing procedures and evaluate evidence.
• Prepare audit workpapers and leverage data analysis to identify patterns and risks.
• Support analytics-based procedures for compliance and testing.
