Job summary

The Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (Dept Behavioral Health/Develop) seeks a Senior Internal Auditor to join the Internal Audit Division. The role supports planning, testwork, and coordination of facility, CSB, and Central Office audits, plus development of work papers and draft final reports.

Travel is required for audits, including overnight trips. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning and conducting audits.
• Experience assisting in developing the scope and objectives of audit projects.
• Experience in developing findings and recommendations for management.
• Experience managing multiple audits within budget hours.
• Experience developing audit programs and procedures.
• Experience conducting hotline projects and investigations.
• Skilled in Excel with pivot tables for data analysis.
• Knowledge of auditing standards and ethics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, testwork, and coordination of facility audits.
• Assist CSB, Central Office audits and operational reviews.
• Develop work papers and audit programs, and draft final reports.
• Perform annual follow-up audits and investigations as requested by management.
• Support quality assurance activities per IIA Standards.
