Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Internal Tooling Engineer to turn repetitive work into intelligent, production-ready tools. You will shape how AI is used across the business, building scalable, distributed systems and AI-enabled features from idea to production.

The role is 100% remote and open to candidates in Germany, Spain, Portugal or the U.K., with a focus on driving impact, mentorship, and high-quality software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building modern web apps end to end, preferably with Go and HTMX, plus Python.
• Hands-on AI knowledge: LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, model routing, in production.
• Agentic coding mindset: using AI to boost productivity with strong quality.
• End-to-end ownership: scoping to launch with proactive planning.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship internal tools, automations and platforms removing bottlenecks across the company.
• Drive discovery with internal stakeholders to uncover bottlenecks and ship tailored solutions.
• Build and scale AI-driven systems like Creative Automation and Content Generation.
• Apply AI to work using agentic coding while maintaining safety and quality.
• Make key technical decisions and design robust distributed architectures.
• Own work end-to-end from scoping through delivery and iteration.
• Mentor others and help shape AI adoption across the company.
