Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a senior software engineer to own core infra and write production code end-to-end. You will scale persistent cloud environments with no playbook, from ~500 to thousands, and collaborate on high-ownership team delivering reliable abstractions.

Based in North America or Western Europe, you will work remote with weekly shipping cycles; strong English required; founder-like drive and AI-forward mindset preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience owning core infrastructure.
• IaC experience with Pulumi, Terraform, or CDK.
• Writes production code end-to-end with a backend focus.

Responsibilities

• Write application code managing VM lifecycle, container updates, queues, observability, and security—scaling environments.
• Design reliable abstractions around messaging, locks, and service bus mechanics.
• Evolve infrastructure-as-code patterns and standards.
• Work deep in Linux systems: containers, networking, storage, permissions, debugging.
• Collaborate on a small, high-ownership team with weekly shipping cycles.
