Job summary

SAA is seeking a Job Captain II to lead interior design projects and produce construction documents including finishes, schedules, and specifications. The role requires coordinating with clients, project managers, and consultants to meet project goals while ensuring code compliance and quality.

Strong Revit/AutoCAD skills and experience in corporate interiors are essential. The position includes working with a design team to develop and document concepts through construction, with supervision of

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or B.Arch or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of corporate interiors experience preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Illustrator, Photoshop, and SketchUp; 3DMax is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and ensure accuracy of design and construction documents.
• Coordinate with clients on requirements and design aesthetics.
• Estimate hours and scope of work for projects.
• Ensure compliance with codes and city requirements for plan checks.
• Mentor designers and oversee production team on project work.
• Oversee detailing, progress, and quality of drawings.
• Coordinate with vendors and consultants for construction documentation.
