Job summary

Baskervill in Richmond, VA seeks an experienced Interior Designer to lead design development across diverse workplace projects. You’ll work hands-on from concept through construction, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with engineers and consultants.

Requirements include a Bachelors/Masters in interior design from a CIDA-accredited program, 8+ years of experience, Revit proficiency, NCIDQ preferred, and willingness to travel. Office four days a week with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in interior design from a CIDA accredited program.
• 8+ years of professional interior design experience.
• NCIDQ certification preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Knowledge of SketchUp, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite, Miro, and Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Design and production of interior design projects from concept through construction administration using Revit.
• Mentor junior staff and maintain design intent across project phases.
• Serve as primary client contact on small to mid-sized projects and build client relationships.
• Coordinate activities with consultants and engineers for successful project delivery.
• Participate in all design phases from programming to construction administration.
• Demonstrate a proactive commitment to professional growth and development.
