Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Interior Designer to join their Richmond, VA team. This is a great opportunity for a senior designer who enjoys leading commercial projects, working directly with clients, mentoring design teams, and taking ownership from initial programming through construction administration.

Lead programming, space planning, and overall interior design for commercial projects.
Manage projects from concept/programming through construction administration.
Conduct and oversee field verification and existing-condition documentation.
Develop and manage construction documents.
Lead finish and furniture selections, specifications, and client presentations.
Coordinate and lead construction administration activities.
Build and maintain strong, long‑term client relationships.
Support business development and repeat client opportunities.
Mentor and support junior/intermediate design staff.
Help drive projects toward successful delivery, quality, and client satisfaction.
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design.
15+ years of professional interior design experience.
Strong commercial interior design and project leadership experience.
NCIDQ Certification.
Proficiency with:
Revit
Microsoft Office Suite
Bluebeam Revu
Strong understanding of building codes and industry standards.
Excellent client‑facing, communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
3D rendering experience.
InDesign
SketchUp
Photoshop
Work on diverse commercial projects across multiple industries.
