Job summary

The QTI Group partners with a local interiors and workplace solutions firm in Madison, WI to recruit a full-time Senior Interior Designer. You will collaborate with clients across southern Wisconsin to craft engaging work environments through thoughtful design, space planning, and furniture solutions.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design and 4+ years of experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD, CET Designer, SPEC, or 2020 CAP/Worksheet.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design.
• 4+ years of interior design experience.
• Experience within a commercial office furniture dealership preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, CET Designer, SPEC, or 2020 CAP/Worksheet.
• Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of commercial office furniture systems, space planning, and workplace design.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between offices and customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand workplace goals, needs, and project requirements.
• Lead the design, presentation, and furniture specifications for projects of varying size and complexity.
• Create space plans, furniture layouts, renderings, and installation drawings using CET/SPEC.
• Present design concepts and recommendations to clients with confidence and professionalism.
• Work closely with sales team, project coordinators, manufacturers, and installation teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Stay current on workplace trends, commercial furniture products, and design best practices.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and team-oriented work environment.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to continued development of design team.
