Actalent is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to lead projects from concept to construction within a highly integrated architecture and interiors studio in Portland, OR. You will mentor junior designers, engage clients, and contribute to business development while coordinating with architects and consultants across education, hospitality, healthcare, and corporate interiors.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 7 years of professional commercial interior design experience with leadership on projects.
• Degree from a CIDA-accredited Interior Design program or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of interior architecture, space planning, finish selections, furnishings, and construction documentation.
• Proficiency in Revit, with ability to produce and coordinate interior design and construction documents.
• Experience producing complete construction documents for interior projects.
• Experience with FF&E specification and coordination, including selections, documentation, and procurement support.
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop for design presentations and marketing or proposal materials.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for reports, schedules, and project documentation.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; client-facing experience to build strong relationships.
• Ability to work onsite in Portland on a regular basis to support studio collaboration.

• Lead interior design efforts from concept through construction administration for diverse project types.
• Develop creative, thoughtful design solutions aligned with client goals and budgets.
• Manage FF&E selections, specifications, and procurement coordination.
• Produce and oversee construction documentation including plans, details, schedules, and specs.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, manufacturers, and staff across project phases.
• Conduct programming activities and space planning to define requirements.
• Coordinate and maintain materials and finishes library for the design team.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to team development.
