Job summary

Perkins & Will in New York is seeking a senior interior designer capable of leading the design process, coordinating with clients and consultants, and mentoring staff. The role emphasizes architectural interiors integration, design direction, and effective communication across project teams.

The candidate will contribute to marketing efforts, prepare client presentation packages, and ensure project delivery aligns with living design standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in interiors, architecture or related discipline required.
• LEED GA within 6 months of hire.
• Professional interiors licensure.
• Professional interiors accreditation: LEED AP, WELL AP, SITES AP, CPHC/CPHD or ILFI Living Future.
• Minimum of several years leading interior design projects and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of the interior design process with a high level of proficiency and creativity.
• Initiate and develop detailed design concepts and criteria.
• Lead interior design efforts and project teams, including client engagement.
• Use graphic storytelling to advance project delivery and scope.
• Prepare client presentations, publications and award submissions.
• Mentor staff and coordinate with clients, partners, and consultants.
