Gensler in the Bay Area is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to lead design vision for tech and workplace interiors, shaping environments that are sustainable, human-centered, and impactful.

You will guide projects from concept through realization, collaborating across disciplines and mentoring teams to deliver high-quality design solutions. This role emphasizes innovation, client satisfaction, and market leadership.

Qualifications

• Current NCIDQ or RID certification as an Interior Designer or Licensed Architect.
• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or related field from an accredited program.
• 10+ years of interior design experience including demonstrated success on Workplace Interiors projects preferred.
• Expert working knowledge of Revit, 3D modeling, visualization, and graphic software.
• Detailed understanding of FF&E design and deliverables (furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications).
• Proven track record of successful design outcomes impacting client satisfaction and business growth.
• Portfolio showcasing diverse design projects with innovative approaches and client solutions.
• Strong understanding of design principles, user experience, and project management methodologies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to articulate design concepts.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Leadership & Strategy: Provide visionary leadership for the design team and strategic design initiatives.
• Client Engagement: Build and maintain relationships; act as primary contact for major projects.
• Creative Direction: Oversee projects from concept through execution; mentor the team.
• Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Integrate perspectives across practice areas and leadership.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure deliverables meet standards for creativity, aesthetics, and function.
